JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The main objective of the Logistics Manager is to cover all aspects of our company’s logistics operations such as coordinating transportation, managing inventory, optimizing supply chain efficiency, and ensuring timely delivery of goods to customers.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • ⁠ Develop and implement comprehensive logistics strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency and meet company objectives.
  • Familiar with 3 PL and coordinate transportation activities, including carrier selection, route planning, and freight rate negotiation, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
  • Systematically managing inventory levels and warehouse operations to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing costs and obsolescence.
  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, ensuring accurate and efficient fulfillment of customer orders.
  • Collaborate with other departments daily, including logistics, procurement, sales, and merchandising to coordinate smooth logistics activities and resolve any issues.
  • Lead and develop a team of logistics professionals, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback to support their growth and development.
  • Having in hand the team that enters customers’ homes, an exemplary attitude, extreme politeness, and a sense of duty.
  • Implement and maintain logistics processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to logistics systems and technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Receiving and checking goods upon arrival. Label each item as it is received to accurately track inventory levels. Any discrepancies or damage are reported to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Report to: Deputy General Manager.

REQUIREMENTS FOR KNOWLEDGE:

  • Level: Bachelor’s degree minimum. Master’s degree preferred. Logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or related fields.
  • Trained to Specialize: in logistics, supply chain management, business administration or related fields
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics management or a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Foreign language: speak English fluently.
  • Office skills: Advanced Excel & Proficiency in logistics software and warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Problem-solving involves analyzing challenges, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Organization Skills: Ability to efficiently structure tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain systems to enhance productivity and facilitate seamless workflow.
